A Greg Norman Redesign

The East Course at Grange Golf Club has a storied history. It underwent a significant redesign by Greg Norman in 2007, transforming it into a modern masterpiece. The course is known for its challenging yet rewarding play. Stretching over 6,250 meters from the championship tees, it demands precision and strategic thinking. Golfers will encounter strategically placed bunkers, undulating fairways, and water hazards that require careful navigation.

Course Layout and Design

The Grange Golf Club’s East and West courses showcase exceptional design and strategic complexity.
The Greg Norman-designed East Course features a strategic layout that begins on flatter terrain and transitions to prime golfing land on the back nine. It meanders through native vegetation and greens are protected by swales featuring classic design elements with large false fronts guarding forward pins.
The Ogilvy Clayton-designed West Course is set on prime golfing land, offering a layout with a unique charm that makes it a fantastic place to play. It includes Monterey Pines and expansive native grasses, and also features intriguing green complexes that challenge players precision course management.

Signature Holes

The East Course: A standout hole is the 15th, a short par-3 with an 'hourglass' shaped green that blends beautifully with its natural setting, offering a tough challenge for even the most skilled short iron players. The 14th green, with its distinct spine and 'punch bowl' feature, adds an extra layer of complexity, distinguishing it from other holes on the course.
The West Course: The par-3, 12th hole is renowned in the world of LIVGolf, as ‘The Watering Hole’. The hole features a relatively long but narrow green flanked by bunkers on both sides. The more daunting of these bunkers stretches along the entire left side of the green and missing the green makes saving par

Pristine Course Conditions

One of the defining features of both Grange Golf Club’s courses are their year-round immaculate condition. The greens are consistently fast and true, providing a reliable putting surface that rewards good shots. The fairways are meticulously maintained, ensuring a premium playing experience year-round.

The natural landscape features over 100 plant species including Callitris pines, golden wattles, boobialla, and hop bush and is one of the few places in the Adelaide region where remnants of pre-European settlement vegetation are preserved. It provides a serene backdrop for a round of golf.
